Summer learning journey week 3 day 14 Bonus
For this task I had to decide whether or not I would want to be prime minister of NZ. Being prime minister is a big responsibility even if you had advantages where others don't like traveling to other countries while paying less. If I was a prime minister I would have lots of busy interviews or other things prime ministers would have to do. I would be really tired and I might have a huge crowd following me recording my life, therefore my answer is no.

Hi Harry,
I really like the way that you explained the task, described your expectations of what it would mean to be the Prime Minister of New Zealand (PM) and then described your feelings about the job. I, like you, would prefer not the be the PM. It is a tireless job. You are constantly 'on' and expected to be available to your family, your cabinet/colleagues in parliament and the rest of New Zealand. It's a pretty intense job!
The upside of being PM is that you are in a position to effect real change in the lives of people living in New Zealand. I do think that that is pretty special!
Speaking of special, it's really exciting to think that you're about to head off to college. How are you feeling about it? Are you getting excited for the next big adventure?
I hope so! On a personal note, I really miss having you as a participant in the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's been so much fun blogging with you!
Wishing you the best,
Rachel
P.S. I will be in touch early in the new year to co-ordinate a time to drop off your SLJ items!
Hi Rachel, I'm not exactly excited for college, sure it might have fun stuff but I haven't forgotten the bad things either. Work gets more advanced, you have to learn new subjects, detention now exists and worst of all if you are unlucky enough you will have a lot of bullys. I hope college turns out alright for me.

Hi Harry,
I really hope so, too. I think that you will enjoy the academic challenges that it brings. I hope that you don't have to struggle too much with bullies - stay strong and carry on and you'll make it through. You might even enjoy it ;-)
Best of luck, Harry!
Cheers, Rachel
