Summer learning journey week 1 activity 2

For this activity I needed to search for interesting facts about my country and write 3 of them that weren't said on the world map.

1. In Australia there are more kangaroos than humans on it.

2. 91% of Australia is covered in plants which is good for me since I like nature.

3. Most of Australia's plants cannot be found anywhere else in the world. So I may get to learn about the vegetation of Australia.

These are the three facts I have chosen for my blogpost. I hope you enjoyed them.

Hey Harry,

It is evident that you have found some interesting facts about Australia from the two previous comments I've read! I admire the fact where there are more kangaroos than there are people. New Zealand has a similar case, you know - there are more sheep than there are people here!

Isn't that cool that Australia and New Zealand share that kind of aspect of having more animals than people!

Keep it up!

Kia ora Harry,

Happy New Years! I hope you have been enjoying your holidays? By the looks of it you have made some fantastic progress through your Summer Learning Journey. Well done! I'm looking forward to catching up on all of the interesting blogging you've been doing.

I really enjoyed reading about your Australia facts. They were all super interesting! You're going to be travelling to a very cool place.

Australia could be a bit like New Zealand I reckon. They have more kangaroos than people, like we have more sheep than people here! I like nature too, it's a really important part of our lives so it's cool to have countries like Australia with so much of it still being looked after. Although there's a lot of dangerous animals hiding there... So make sure you're careful!

Australia sounds like a very unique place, and I have no doubt that you'll be able to teach me plenty about their country. Keep up the great work and if you haven't already, have a go at commenting on some of your friends blogs too!

Cheers,
Dan.
