My Drama Blog By Harry and Jasmine
This is are Drama blog in drama we did a game called Flow with words how you play this game is saying a word that is like for example we had to say words about water if Jasmine said cup the other person must say something different to what Jasmine said if they say the same word what Jasmine said they are out, it was a challenging game and Jasmine got out because Jasmine said cup. Another game was called build a object Jasmine's group was Jessie, Lani and Jane and Harry's group was Raymond, John and Jason this is how we play the game the teacher had to say a object and the groups must make the object together some groups can make the same form the teacher gave us 30 seconds to plan our form.

My self assessment
I need to work on making a hook to make my story sound interesting, put describing words into my writing, use words which are more than three syllables, using language features-similes, metaphors, onomatopoeia in my writing. The good ones are proof read and edit my writing, using my capital letters at the right time, spelling my words correctly.

My time at the Tamaki River
Tuesday 5th November Rooms 5, 6,7, 8 and 9 went to Panmure Basin. It was only the seniors who went to the Panmure Basin. Angel, Fine and Caitlin took pictures of the Tamaki River and Rotary Walkway. We went across a bridge it was very scary to me because we were very high. I wasn’t sure about the other people in my class most of them seemed to be okay and some of them looked like as if they were frightened too. I felt like the bridge was going to get lose and we would all fall in the water. We passed some exercise equipment for people. Only Room 8 got to try out the equipment. We only got to go on one piece of the equipment. We had crossed a small wooden bridge. I went there before and when I passed it I saw a log that looked like a crocodile. It used to be on the tree branch, now it was in the water. At last we had morning tea for 20 minutes. As we were walking to the Tamaki River one of my classmates called Lorenzo looked down on the road below us and his hat fell off. Luckily it did not get blown away.
We went on a higher bridge and saw some boats on the water. This felt like the bridge we went on earlier and then we stopped. I had not known why but then when our teacher asked us “Whose hat is that?”. We all turned around. Then someone said “That hat was one of my classmates, her name is Fine”. We could not get her hat as it was stuck on the road, so we left it behind. Once we crossed the bridge the class behind us crossed the big bridge also. One of these students also lost their hat, so they also left it behind. As we were walking down we saw a person cleaning his boat. It smelled like fish, as if the boat was a fish. I did not like that part either and it was so exhausting. While we were walking we went past Latham’s house. His house was near the river I felt like I could not take another step soon. We stopped for a break. Mrs Anderson decided to have make us partners with Room 8. My partner was AJ. AJ and I are friends. We were walking and walking I felt like I was covered with fire.
Finally we had lunch except when we had lunch it started to rain. Luckily there was some shelter. When it stopped raining most of us went to the exercising spot. I tried using exercise equipment. We had to wait for three buses. Two of them came, it took a while for the third bus to come. I thought we would have the bus all to ourselves but we didn’t. We had to share with Room 9. At last we could take a break. When we got to school we had to go to the school hall to have some ice blocks. My ice block was lemonade flavour. It tasted had a lemon taste. It was a long walk. I am happy now that we don’t need to walk anymore.

My drama blog
In room 11 we did some drama everyone was in groups of 4 or 5, my partners were Jessie, Reon, Gozan and Jacob we had to become into the 3 pictures we had been given our pictures are exercise spot a little playground and all of us eating lunch. My group did well on creating the freeze frame this except we still need to work on agreeing with each other on witch picture we will do and create the freeze frames with team work. Once we finished performing to each other everyone had to pick 1 of the 3 pictures, my groups one was eating lunch we had to say some words when Reon said the last words it was funny. We also played a game called survival the rules no talking otherwise your out what number the teacher said we had to get into a group. For example she said 5 we must get into a group of 5 the ones who did not have enough people had to sit out and watch without talking I was the only boy that survived the others were girls.

My Drama freeze frame
On Thursday my class and I went to room 11 to do some freeze frames some of us had groups of four or three I was in a group of 4 my partners names were Jacob, Zeba and Linda each group was given pictures everyone had to be like the picture they were given and try to put their forms together. I liked my part because it was easy so I didn't have a problem with that my part was a duck, the part I didn't like was organizing because my partner Jacob was having trouble doing his form this was fun doing the freeze frames.

Mary's Dilemma
Mary’s Dilemma
When Mary woke up she went to her mom's room she had not known that her mom is already dead she thought her mom just overslept she waited and waited for her mom to wake up and make her breakfast it was the afternoon. And her mom had not woken up yet so she decided to wake her up when all of a sudden she got a fright when she saw her mom was dead from a disease then she heard a knock on the door it was one of her friends she told her friend that her mother died from a disease her friend felt terribly sad for her. Luckily she could let Mary stay at her house until she find’s a home to live in
This is my story on a girl who's mother and father died I haven't finished yet.

My swimming day during the holidays
In the holidays my Mum and I went to the swimming pools. When we got there, the outside swimming pool did not have any water. After we changed into swimming clothes, we went to the pools, leaving my googles' case in the changing cabin. I went to the adults' pool with my mum. She took me halfway in the adults pool. It was a bit uncomfortable because the water was much higher and it was pushing our air down. Then my mum wanted to go to another pool which was a spa. But she saw some men who looked rough, so she didn't go to the spa pool and went to the shower instead. After she dressed back to her normal clothes, she waited for me to finish playing in the pool. When I was getting dressed, I spotted the goggle case we had left back at the changing cabin. Lucky that we didn't lose it after all.

My trip to China
I just got back from a two month holiday from China. This was my first time on a plane that I can remember, my mum and I flew from New Zealand to Australia then directly to China. When we first landed in China we went to a place called Beijing. Beijing was a very hot place, we went there to stay with some family. We stayed there for a few days, then we caught a train to Datong and stayed with my uncle. Datong wasn’t that hot unlike Beijing, while I was there I visited my aunt a lot so I could use her computer to practice my maths whizz and sumdog since my uncle didn’t have a computer.
While I was away, I got to experience lots of different exciting new foods that were very tasty, we went to a restaurant that had a big giant boiler on the table where we picked our foods then placed them in the boiler so we were able to watch our food being cooked in front of us. During my stay with my uncle, whenever I was out and it ever started to rain I went back to my uncles because I liked staying there since he had lots of dogs and rabbits. He had one rabbit that was so small it could fit in your whole hand, it was a newborn baby rabbit it was so soft and fluffy. When we went to visit a family friend he had lots of birds inside his house, they were very colourful, my uncle also took me to this place with lots of animals. My mum was going to take me to see a giant turtle but I never got the chance to see it.
I was lucky enough that I got to spend lots of time playing with my cousin, who was the same age as me but 10 months older than me. When he came over to my uncles he sometimes brought fun toys with him for us to play with. I got two soft tiger animals and a fish as well as a toy lion, my favourite was my toy lion because it could stand up like a real lion and had little claws. It took so long to get to China by plane, it took a whole day to travel from Australia up to China, the plane was really uncomfortable to sleep on it felt like I never slept the whole time we were flying. The best part of my trip was playing with my cousin and playing video games while I was on the plane, I look forward to my next trip back in two years.
