Day 1 Activity 2

For this activity I had to post three interesting facts about Milo Kroton.

1: When Milo was a child he had a young bull calf which he lifted every day on his shoulders and carried it around for a little bit for four years by that time it had grown into a bull.

2: One day Milo killed and ate the entire bull in a day.

3: One day he was tied in a competition against someone, because his opponent kept running until Milo was exhausted.

Hi Harry,

After reading those 3 facts I think I want to change my 3 interesting facts because they weren't really that interesting. I was really surprised with number 2 I mean who would eat a whole entire bull in a day. Keep up the great blogging.

Hello Harry, I agree with Nesi, who would eat a bull in only one day. He must if been really hungry. He must of been really strong when he was a kid. You are doing well in the Winter Learning Journey so keep up the fantastic work.

Harry - you are doing a fabulous job with the Winter Learning Journey. Way to go! I love the facts that you have posted and I, too, read that Milo ate an entire bull in one day. I do have to wonder how accurate it is but it makes for a very interesting read!

Speaking of reading, I'm already looking forward to reading your next post :)

Cheers, Rachel

Hi Harry
My reading group will be doing an activity next term about Milo of Croton. I have read about him too and can't believe what he did to become stronger. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to carry a fully grown ox around. That sounds crazy! I may have to borrow you from Ms Naicker when we do our activity so you can help us with our reading task. Keep up the great work!
Mrs A :)

I just saw that you have written Kroton with a K and I wrote it with a C so I checked and found out you can spell it both ways. That's interesting!
