Australia
I would like to visit Australia because I like places that have nature. Another reason on why I want to visit Australia is because they have animals that we in New Zealand don't have. Such as kangaroos it would be interesting to see one in real life.

Hi, Harry!
Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey! My name is Willy, and I'm part of the commenting team for the programme. What I do is comment on students blogs and provide feedback on what they've put down for the activities in the programme. I've got to say, I am enjoying the huge amount of students completing and blogging activities.
Oh, Australia...good pick...the country where people rejoice while young and free - with golden soil and wealth with hard work, their home is by the sea. With plenty of nature and and rare beauty, it'll be in the pages of history as Australia.
Well, how about that, I just described Australia by incorporating their national anthem. It IS a great country, though, I've got to say.

Hello Harry, I like how you gave some interesting reasons why you would like to go to Australia. Keep up the great work.
Kia ora Harry,
Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey! We are so happy to have you on board with us, and I'm looking forward to reading your blogs through your journey to Australia.
My name is Dan, and I'm working alongside Rachel and Mark over the summer. I'm lucky enough to be able to read your blogs and I'll be leaving comments as I go. If you want to reply to my comments then please do! I'd love to know what you think, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask away.
Great start completing the first learning activity. I really like your reasons for wanting to go there! Australia is a very interesting place with lots of weird and wonderful animals. Some of them are quite dangerous to us like crocodiles, snakes and spiders so you have to be careful - especially if you're in the outback!
Kangaroos are pretty cool, I've never seen one in person. But did you know that we have wallabies in New Zealand? They're kind of like baby kangaroos, and on places like Kawau Island in the Hauraki Gulf we have lots of them jumping all over the place.
Keep up the blogging Harry! I'm looking forward to learning all about the different kinds of animals Australia has that you would like to see on your learning journey.
Have a great Christmas :-)
Dan.

Hi Harry
Australia is a great choice. It seems like a awesome country and I also think that it would be interesting to see a kangaroo because I have only seen one on TV. Keep up the great work Harry!
