Smart searching with Mrs Ogilvie
Today on Thursday we were taught by Mrs Ogilvie about smart searching. Some of us went to our PBS library to learn from her while the rest stayed in LS2. I was one of those who went, she taught us about smart searching by giving us advice about key words which can help getting the results we wanted. She also told us about some sites that are reliable like Epic which led to kids info bits and Britannica School. We then had to teach someone who didn't come to the library about what Mrs Ogilvie taught us
Reading challenge
LI(Learning Intention): Learning to follow instructions and reading for meaning and understanding. For reading we did another reading challenge and marked. We were split into half since our group was big. Our reading challenge is about filling in the missing words, it is about types of fish. The half I was in didn't finish the two pages we were given, though we did get a good amount right.

Rhythm interactive
Today we had some rhythm interactive with Johnny and Lucy. LS1 and LS2 students and teachers each got a drum to play on. Johnny and Lucy were mainly using sign languages to communicate with us they did sing: "We will make a change." around halfway they said: actions are stronger than words. That was the reason they weren't saying anything to us when we were supposed to do something or when we got some of it wrong.

Hydration and Dehydration
This is a DLO I made with my partner Reon. We were learning about hydration and dehydration, we were then given some questions to answer and a 25 word challenge where we had to write in exactly 25 words on why water is vital to human survival. Hopefully this DLO allowed you to learn something new about hydration, dehydration or both.
