Beautiful soldier inference

This is my Beautiful soldier inference T chart. We were learning how to inference, on a song: Beautiful soldier by Marian Burns. We did it since it was Anzac day. We learned it by basically taking some of the sentences and putting it in our own words.

Scratch command blocks

Scratch Tool

Technique - What does the tool do?

Description - What was the tool used for?

Script: When (Green Flag) clicked
When you click on the green flag animation will start
To start the animation
Script: When Backdrop switches to (backdrop)
When you click the background it will switch to another background if you have another background and the sprite will do the things you put under it
To change the background and do the things you put under it
Script: Broadcast (message 1)
Make the other sprites and the background do whatever you want as if they were in the army
Makes the other sprites and background do whatever you want if it takes to long to move all the sprites.
Script: Broadcast (message1) and wait
It is like the broadcast message it sends a message to all sprites not only that it waits for all the sprites to finish before continuing something else
It is used for making other sprites do the things you want them to do and it waits till they all are finished before continuing something else otherwise everything will be messed up
Script: Motion: Move (10) steps
Makes your sprite moves 10 steps and it can be changed to another number
Making whatever type of sprite move the number of steps you want
Script: Control: Forever
Makes your sprite do something forever like changing color
It was used for making a sprite do something forever like making a word change color forever.
This is my Google document on scratch about what some command blocks do.

Spelling

This is my spelling score on the spelling game we had to do the reason I got 80 as my score was because there were new words and it is hard to understand what the person in the game is saying.
The new word I learnt to spell was affirmative.
I also now that affirmative means that you are sure with something.
This is my example of using affirmative
Eg: Someone asked another person if they are sure 7x8=56 that person says: "Affirmative."

Number in Maori game 1-12

This is a 1-12 Maori game it is where you have to add and subtract Maori numbers from 1-12 I found this is challenging because you have to think about the number and it is also timed so it pits a lot of stress on you and the questions are not infinite if you also want to play here is the link to the game.
