R5/R6 Comparison

This is a google drawing about room 5 & room 6 parents that were born overseas which means parents born in different countrys from New Zealand I did this Google drawing with John and Zahn two people in room 5. We also added a learning intention which is the L.I if you didn't know.

One thing about me is I am smart

One thing about me was I was smart. I was good at maths and I was also pretty good in tests for example spelling I usually do well in spelling and do pretty good in star tests. Sometimes in maths it gets really complicated so I don’t know the answers to the questions so I need to work on the ones that are hard but at least I am smart enough. A reason on why I was good at maths was because when I was about 7 my Mum always made me practice my times tables in the car on the way to school, I started at one times tables then worked my way up to my 10 or 11 times tables. When I was almost 8 I was in room 8 we did division, that time I didn’t know what was division so I was confused, later I had learned how to do division. Sometimes people asked me what the answer was on questions which was really annoying why can’t they work on the question they find hard?

This is a graph of a Cricket World Cup. New Zealand VS Sri Lanka, New Zealand won by 98 runs so they won the Cricket World Cup, the score for New Zealand was 342 and the score for Sri Lanka was 231.

Dictionary meaning: (An act or instance of using or closely imitating the language or thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of the author’s work as one’s own as by not crediting the original author.)

What does this mean to me: (Copying someone’s else’s idea/s without their permission and saying it’s your own without telling that he/she used the idea/s of someone else which is copyright.)

Today in room 6 we researched about plagiarism. We need the computer dictionary meaning and what we think it means to us and also the last one why is it important to know this.

Why is it important to know this: (Because when you get studied about this word you will know what it means. So if the teacher asks what plagiarism means you will know what it means.)

Y-chart Good attitude

Today in room 6. We did a good attitude Y-chart. We were allowed to work in groups of 2, my partner was Gozan. We had to do different Y-charts so I thought of 5 ideas then Gozan helped me and gave me 3 more ideas for my Y-chart.

All about me poster

This is my all about me poster today Miss Paton taught us some new things about Google drawing. If the lines on my picture, scroll and all about me text box didn't help you recognize that. She taught us about line weight and line dash, line weight makes the outline bigger and line dash makes the lines look different so that's why my picture, scroll and text box is like that.

Waitangi day facts - Harry and Juliano

In room 6 Juliano and I were buddies for a Waitangi day research it was really hard to get information since we were only allowed to get information off the newspaper but later it was finished hopefully you will learn something from this.

PBS Values - Confidence

Today in Room 6 we did a PBS care Y-chart. We started with C for Confidence I didn't think of much words to put in for Confidence.

Rm6 2015

This year I am a year 7 in room 6 with Ms Millward in our first day we did expectations it is where we had to use a big sheet of paper and work in groups of three or two I worked with Mahdia we didn't fill our sheet of paper with ideas since it was probably because we didn't write so big like the other people who were working together.  This year we have camp I am excited and nervous at the same time hopefully I will have a good time at camp and a good new year.
