Orienteering
For Orienteering we had to get the letters from A-U so we had to get 20 of the 27 letters of the alphabet. We were allowed partners, I worked by myself. Each of us chose our own paths so we wouldn't have a long line of people trying to just one letter. My finish time was: 12.42 I wasn't running much. I also needed a bit of help to find the other letters because some of the letters were a bit hard to see. I didn't have a image for this one because I couldn't find a image that had me in it.

Speech Competition
These are images of me presenting a speech to my group and a screenshot of my rubric. My expression is good, I need to work on my clear voice and my knowledge of speech and a little bit on eye contact which is basically knowledge of speech. This is my speech: Hello everyone. I am making this speech on littering, because I know what harm it can cause and I have seen rubbish on the ground that is just a few feet away from the bin, which can be really annoying for anyone trying to clean them up.
Our rubbish is killing animals, it can even harm your pets. If you love your pet or pets don’t litter because yours or somebody else's pet can get their head. stuck in your rubbish. So if you want a good world, use bikes, scooters and other vehicles that are Eco-friendly. Pick up rubbish you find on the ground or at the very least put your rubbish in the right place.
We are gifted a world...a world that we are slowly destroying, all because of various things, factories creating toys, littering and using transport that needs fuel. These are usually the ones that are doing the most damage.
Think of the packets of food you bring. Think of where they end up. Do they belong there? If not pick it up and put it in the right place.
Food can be delicious, appetizing and succulent. But if you do not put your rubbish in the right place, you will start making our environment extremely harsh. Think about where you put your rubbish, if large amounts of organic litter go into water it will cause water pollution. Which means it will be unhealthy to drink same goes for plants, if you eat the food off there you can have some health problems and once we have polluted the entire Earth, there will be no healthy food or water left...just a rotted planet with no resources left and we were the cause of it.
There are lots of rubbish around bins instead of in them, if this keeps on happening the environment will start to fall apart, animals will die because of our actions. Did you know a 10 meter long whale was found washed up on the south-coast of Spain, it had swallowed 59 different plastic items which altogether was over 37 pounds.

Orienteering
Today the LS2 did Orienteering, we did a different type of orienteering than last week. The year 7's did orienteering second. So the year 8's did orienteering first, I walked so I wouldn't waste my energy. But it started when I was still on my second course. We had to do four courses, I finished the fourth one and the first one. I was on to the second one and then I would be able to the third, but it started to rain and then we got soaked. Some of the year 8's finished early so they didn't need to worry about the rain. Later we got called to go to class even if we didn't finish we still had to go to class or we would get soaked even more.

Current events
This is a current event of a elephant that is still alive with a bullet in the head. Though the team who found the elephant, decided it was safer to leave the bullet in place. If the bullet was lower it would have hit his brain, that's how the elephant survived.

Super Smog
These are screenshots my partner AJ and I did on the super smog in China. We used T-S (Text to Self) means connection the text and something in our own life experience. T-T (Text to Text) means connection between the story and other texts. T-W (Text to World) means connection between what we are reading and something that is happening in the world.
