Rockets Tech

At Tech we were working on two types of rockets. A straw rocket and a Paper rocket. I was working with Daniel, Lyndon and AJ. The first rocket we had to do was the straw rocket. We cut out pieces of paper then attached them to our straws with sellotape. We did the same with the top of the straw where we bent it and sellotaped it. We then put the small straw in the a big straw. We also used the big straw to blow the rocket out and watched it fly.

Godwit Migration

We have been learning about Bar-tailed Godwits in Inquiry and we made a Storyboard That about their migration. We put information of the Bar-tailed Godwit onto our comics. For Inquiry we switched groups, so now we are with Mrs Anderson. We are learning about Godwits, I worked with Sebastian and Pote on this Popplet. Our task was to make a popplet about the appearance, diet, habitat and predators of the bar tailed Godwit.

Dictionary meaning: (An act or instance of using or closely imitating the language or thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of the author’s work as one’s own as by not crediting the original author.)

What does this mean to me: (Copying someone’s else’s idea/s without their permission and saying it’s your own without telling that he/she used the idea/s of someone else which is copyright.)

Today in room 6 we researched about plagiarism. We need the computer dictionary meaning and what we think it means to us and also the last one why is it important to know this.

Why is it important to know this: (Because when you get studied about this word you will know what it means. So if the teacher asks what plagiarism means you will know what it means.)

Y-chart Good attitude

Today in room 6. We did a good attitude Y-chart. We were allowed to work in groups of 2, my partner was Gozan. We had to do different Y-charts so I thought of 5 ideas then Gozan helped me and gave me 3 more ideas for my Y-chart.

All about me poster

This is my all about me poster today Miss Paton taught us some new things about Google drawing. If the lines on my picture, scroll and all about me text box didn't help you recognize that. She taught us about line weight and line dash, line weight makes the outline bigger and line dash makes the lines look different so that's why my picture, scroll and text box is like that.
